Expert, Ex Ante Assessment of the UAEU Cities of Equality theme

Dr. Orna Rosenfeld B.Arch. (Hons) M.A. PhD is an award-winning urban strategist and housing expert focusing on living and inclusion, currently serving as the EUI expert for the Cities of Equality UAEU theme.

Her work covers 56 countries, where she supports selected governments, cities and international organisations such as the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the World Bank, and the United Nations, among others, to shape the visions of the national, global and European urban and housing policies in pursuit of inclusive urban futures.

Dr Rosenfeld is the author of over 20 strategic and scientific articles, reports, and books translated and published internationally. She is a founder and executive producer of the Inclusive Urban Futures science podcast. Her intellectual work has won excellence awards internationally. Most recently, she was honoured as European and, consequently, a Global Social Impact Award Winner 2021 by the British Council.

In addition to her advisory and consultancy work, Dr Rosenfeld is the Cities. Housing and Real Estate Chair Committee Member and adjunct professor at Sciences Po – The Paris Institute of Political Studies. She holds a Doctorate in Urban Regeneration and Development from the University of Westminster, an M.A. from the University of Sheffield and a BA. in Architecture from the Belgrade University and the Technion – IIT.
